Harvey Estate Wines

Since 2009, Alie has collaborated with Scotto’s Wine Cellar, one of Brooklyn’s most esteemed wine shops, to create this proprietary line of wines.  Named as an homage to the owner’s wife (Harvey is her maiden name), the line includes Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, and Ginny’s Red (a Bordeaux blend).

Alie manages all the fermentation and bottling and works with the owner to craft the final blend for Ginny’s Red.


61 Local East End Blend

61 Local, a 100% New York-dedicated locavore restaurant in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, commissioned Alie to craft a wine that would complement their farm-to-table cuisine. East End Blend was the final result: a cabernet franc and merlot blend, packaged in a keg to work with their draft-only beer and wine program.  Alie oversaw all production and collaborated with the restaurant on the final blend. The wine is now a staple on the 61 Local beverage menu.


Barn White Signature Wine

Founding Farmers is a restaurant group located in the mid-Atlantic region whose ingredients are sourced from a cooperative of family farmers. They reached out to Alie to create a signature wine to complement their farm-to-table menus. The result is Barn White, a crisp and refreshing white blend designed to complement a wide range of dishes.

The wine is currently highlighted on menus at the group’s four area restaurants and will be served at newly opened locations in 2016.


Croteaux Vineyards Rosé Wines

Recognized for her elegant and complex rosés, Alie was hired by Croteaux Vineyards to act as consulting winemaker, starting with the 2015 vintage. Croteaux is the only winery in the U.S. dedicated to solely producing rosé wines. They aim to craft rosés that showcase the versatility of this popular style.
